Raiffeisen LeasingMoldova • In 2005, the Government of Moldova (with EBRD and Ernst & Young support) drafted a new Leasing Law, facilitating and regulating the leasing business; • At the end of 2006, Raiffeisen Group has decided to consider Moldova for leasing operations; • In spring of 2007 we’ve hired a core-team of the future leasing company which undertook extensive training for 4 months in Bucharest and Vienna; • Raiffeisen Leasing registered in Moldova on November 7, 2007 with initial share capital of 500,000 EUR; • The sole shareholder is Raiffeisen Leasing IFN SA (Romania); • The company provides financial leasing solutions for machinery, equipment, trucks and commercial vehicles, as well as for passenger cars; • Targeted clients are SMEs and Corporates; • For the start-up period the targeted tenor is 12-48 months.
