Note to Facilitator • These slides are tools to be used for a few different modules in the National Healthy Marriage Resource Center’s Online National Guard Facilitator Toolkit. • The slides can be used for a variety purposes but were designed to enhance the modules titled “The Emotional Cycle of Deployment,” “Marriage and the Emotional Cycle of Deployment” and “Children and the Emotional Cycle of Deployment.” Specific instructions for the best way to use these slides are included in each of the modules within the Toolkit. • In preparation for using the slides or for more information on the impact that deployment has on Service members and families, please refer to the article titled “Understanding the Emotional Cycle of Deployment” in the Toolkit. • These slides contain custom animations that, if used in presentation mode, take the presenter step-by-step through the stages.
