  3. Miks ei vajunud nõel kausi põhja? • Molekulid on vees üksteisega tihedalt seotud. • Pindpinevuse tõttu on vesi kaetud “kilega”, millest ei õnnestunud nõelal läbi tungida.

  4. Pindpinevus on vee põnev omadus • Nähtust, kus mõnda vee molekuli sunnitakse pinnalt eemalduma ja tema kõrval olevad vee molekulid püüavad teda tagasi tõmmata, nimetatakse pindpinevuseks.
