  2. Getting to the GameTransport Options • Rea Vaya BRT • MetroRail • Park and Ride • Park and Walk • There will be two transport hubs where you can connect from one form of public transport to another: • Westgate Transport Hub • Sandton Transport hub

  3. Rea Vaya BRT • All of the Rea Vaya Stations will be operating to take people to the games • The cost of using the Rea Vaya transport option will be R12.00 for a return trip. • Tickets can be bought prior to the game or on the day at the Rea Vaya stations • Please check www.reavaya.org.za for more information.

  4. MetroRail • Metrorail is free of charge with a match ticket. • There are 2 stations at Ellis Park: Jeppe and Doornfontein, ensure that you remember which station you arrived at so that you can leave on the same route. • There is one station at Soccer city: Nasrec • Various railway lines will be operating around Joburg to take fans to the matches please check www.metrorail.co.za or www.joburg.org.za

  5. Park and Rides • A Park and Ride is a parking facility where spectators can park their vehicles and be shuttled to the stadium by the City’s scheduled shuttle service. This service will be done by a combination of accredited buses and taxis. • Bez Valley Park and Ride Marcia Street, Observatory. East of Johannesburg CBD. • Conhill Park and Ride (Constitution Hill) 2 Queens Street, Braampark. East of Johannesburg CBD. • Wits Campus Park and Ride Enoch Sontonga Avenue and Empire Road, Braamfontein. Northwest of Johannesburg CBD. • Gold Reef Park and Ride Data Crescent in Gold Reef. South of Johannesburg CBD.

  6. Park and Walks These are facilities located within walking distance of the match venues. Spectators will park their vehicles and walk to the stadium along a designated route. The JMPD will provide full protection at these facilities. • Athlone Boys Park and Walk Corner 3rd Avenue and 1st Street, Bezuidenhout. East of Johannesburg CBD • Aeroton Park and Walk Adcock Ingram Avenue, Aeroton. South of Johannesburg CBD • Rand Show Road Park and Walk Corner Randshow and Aerodome Road in the suburb of Aeroton. South of Johannesburg CBD. • Shareworld Park and Walk Shaft Road in the suburb of Nasrec. South of Johannesburg CBD.

Transport Ticket for P&R and P&W Please note that Park and Ride and Park and Walk tickets must be bought prior to the day at www.ticketbreak.co.za or www.computicket.com NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE PARK AND RIDE AND PARK AND WALKFACILITIES ON GAME DAYS. • Car R50.00 • Minibus taxi or similar (15, 18, 24 seater) R100.00 • 35-40 seater bus R500.00 • 64 seater bus and more R700.00

Westgate Transport Hub • During the 2010 SWC, Westgate will be a Transport Hub where you can connect to the stadiums via Metrorail or Rea Vaya BRT. • It is at the corner Anderson Street and Pat Mbatha Bus and Taxi way in the Johannesburg CBD • A Drop-off and Ride will be available at the Westgate Transport Hub. • Metrobuses will also travel from Sandton to Westgate Station on match days. • Inter-city and Inter-provincial buses from the ORTambo International Airport as well as XXX places will also drop passengers here who can then use Rea Vaya BRT or Metrorail to go to the stadiums. • No inter-city or inerprovincial buses will go directly to the stadiums.

Sandton Transport Hub • A Lanseria Airport shuttle and the Gautrain will be dropping passengers in Sandton on match days. • A Metrobus service will take fans from Innnesfree Park and pick up along Rivonia and West Roads in Sandton before travelling to the Westgate Transport Hub where fasn can connect to Rea Vaya or Metrorail. A one way trip to Westgate Transport Hub will cost R20.00 a return trip plus a Rea Vaya connection to the stadium will cost R50 • Metrobus pick up times: .

  11. Airport Shuttles • There will be a shuttle transporting people from Lanseria Airport to the Sandton Metro Transport Hub on Match Days. • Shuttles from OR Tambo International Airport will be transporting fans to Westgate Transport Hub on Match Days

Gautrain • Gautrain will be operational for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. • The link between OR Tambo International Airport and Sandton will be working. • Cost will be between R11 and R16 Match Days: • On match days Metrobus will connect fans to the stadia via Westgate Transport Hub Non Match Days • There will be feeder buses to take people from the Sandton Station to other areas around Sandton

  13. 10 Easy Park and Ride and Park and Walk Steps • Make sure that you buy your Park and Ride, Park and Walk ticket in good time. These tickets can be purchased prior to the match day. Tickets will not be able to be purchased at the Park and Ride, Park and Walk venues. • Drive to your closest Park and Ride, Park and Walk. Follow the signage to the entrance. • Make sure that you have your transport ticket, match ticket and ID with you. No vehicle will be allowed into the area without a valid transport ticket. Please leave all prohibited items behind • Take notice of the name of your Park and Ride, Park and Walk. Park your car and walk to the designated loading area. • Ride/ Walk to the stadium. Please note the drop off point/Route. It will be the same after the game. • Watch your favourite team go for glory!! • Leave the stadium and immediately look for directional signage. Don’t walk too far beyond the precinct. You should see signage immediately after exiting the stadium. • Do not rush out of the stadium. • Once you arrive at your correct drop off point wait patiently in the queue for the marshal to give you instructions, or follow the signage back to the Park and Walk. • Return to your Park and Ride, Park and Walk.

  14. Important Information • You will not be able to use the Park and Rides and Park and Walks without a Transport Ticket. • You have to Pre-Buy your Park and Ride and Park and Walk transport ticket at www.ticketbreak.co.za or computicket www.computicket.com • No Transport Ticket No Access

  15. Important Information • Please be aware of road closures around the Stadiums. • You will not be able to be dropped at the Stadiums • The only Drop and Ride is at Westgate Transport Hub
