As the border of the Republic of Latvia is the border of the European Union, Latvian railway together with the state revenue service of the Republic of Latvia has participated in the construction of the high-performance control centers at the European Union border with Russia and Belarus

Establishment of the above-mentioned centers has improved the quality if control and minimized the time of train handling
