  10. In Summary 59% were Gay/lesbian/bisexual, 84% were Males, 56% reported MSM the most likely mode of HIV transmission, and 81% were Hispanics

  13. Baseline Health Related Quality of Life was measured for 1164 participants in 5 project sites

  14. Items were taken mostly from HIV-PARSE (HIV - Patient Assessed Report of Status and Experience)

  15. 8 Domains of Health Overall Health Perception Role Functioning Social Functioning Physical Functioning Energy & Fatigue Pain Cognitive Functioning Emotional Well-being

  16. Perceived Overall Health, all sites, and by Hispanic ethnicity

  17. Mean of Current Perceived Health by Year of intake * t test of significance = .004 ** t test of significance = .05
