The number of plastic straw used each day in North America alone? • 15 000 • 5 000 000 • 500 000 000 Answer is “c” - that’s enough to circle earth 2X Math - it’s the only subject that ‘counts’!!

  8. * Wellness Break - Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to come to the library for 2nd recess to have some QUIET down time. The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity. No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.

  9. Junior Boys Volleyball There will be no junior boys volleyball practice today.

  10. Junior Girls Volleyball Thank you to all the girls who tried out, please come out again next year :) The team is posted on the French office door. Team practise first break in the gym!

  11. The Book Fair IS HERE! Come visit the library to purchase your new books! Open late Tuesday night for the Worsley Wellness Night - bring your families!!

  13. Woe’s Wonder Park is almost here!! Please send down your rides to the library today so we can make sure there is enough room. Can’t wait to show them all off on Tuesday night and to see “Where the Math” is!

  14. Zach Makes Tracks 2.0 Burst Your Bubble Challenge! You are not alone - there are approximately 2.2 million youths in Canada! Zach is trying to raise $1 for each youth and donate it to Youth Mental Health. What can we do? Purchase a piece of gum and 100 minutes of gum chewing on April 16.

  15. *Congratulations to Mrs. McKellar’s class for winning the $20 and to Mrs. Fuller’s for winning $10 at the BOOK FAIR!! Come on down to choose your books :)

  16. *Singing for JOY - Wellness Night in the Gym There will be a lot of music coming out of the gym on Tuesday night between voices and our Worsley band. MUSIC/Singing is the number one thing on my list of "ways to find JOY" and wellness... So, I wanted to let you know that we are not PERFORMING our songs yet. Rather we are SHARING our love of music and singing. ANY child in any grade, and/or adult that is in the building, is welcome to come into the gym and sing. We will be using youtube and the projector, and students can share the songs that we are working on in class and for Music Mania and the 'Concert'. Please put this into your agendas. Thank you!
