PROCESSING WASTEWATER OVERVIEW CHARACTERISTICS • BOD - can range from ± 1500 mg/l (multi-source wastewater) to ± 6000 mg/l (harvest bloodwater). • TSS - can range from ± 500 mg/l (multi-source wastewater) to ± 1500 mg/l (harvest bloodwater). • FOG - can range from ± 100 mg/l (multi-source wastewater) to ± 1500 mg/l (harvest bloodwater).. • Salinity - depends upon processing water source. • Temperature - typically < 10° C. • Disease - varies from region to region (ie.
