  3. Black and Gold Dress Down Day • There will be a FREE Black and Gold Pirate dress down day on Tuesday, October 1. • Show your support of the Pirates as they begin the playoffs!

  4. There will be a mandatory meeting for any Juniors or Seniors who want to be class retreat leaders. The meeting is on Monday, September 30th at 2:45 in the Lecture Hall.  

  5. Cross Country News • The Oakland Catholic Crosscountry Team ran at the McQuaid Invitational in Rochester, New York this past Saturday. • 8,000 runners from 15 States and 6 Canadian Provinces competed.  • The team finished 4th out of 41 teams in their race.  • Freshman Lauren Finikiotis finish12th and Junior MaKenzieZeh finished 22nd,  • Seven Oakland runners received medals.  • Congratulations to all of the Eagle runners.

  6. Golf News • OC Girls golf finished the season with a Win over Elizabeth Forward 222-242. •   A big contribution came from Senior Captain Ally Ayoob nearly matching her career low on Senior Day.  • The team finished strong winning two of their last three matches.  • A big thanks to departing Seniors Christina Moody, Ally Ayoob, and Angela Santucci.

  8. Volleyball News The Volleyball plays at home today team against Bethel Park. Come support the team, JV starts at 6. Good luck girls. 

  9. Field Hockey Cancer Awareness Game • Come support the field hockey seniors and the fight against cancer in one night of field hockey fun • October 1st, Ceremony starting at 5:30 at Winchester Thurston Field. • Sponsored by the OC Cancer Awareness Club

  13. The 47th Annual Duquesne University College Fair will be held at the A.J. Palumbo Center on Sunday, October 13th from 1PM to 3PM Over 150 colleges and universities will be in attendance.  This is a great way to meet with representatives from a variety of schools No registration is required.
