MTAC Workgroup 106 – Goals • Optimize the integration of USPS data sources impacting mail preparation, drop ship discounts, and delivery • Identify a consolidated data set and determine communication methods to disseminate information in a timely manner. • Provide recommendations for business rules and processes to update and coordinate changes to maintain accuracy, currency, and implementation.

MTAC Workgroup 106 – Objectives • Improve disconnect between preparation and entry planning data • Provide a solution for a Comprehensive Data Source (CDS) with business rules identified within the data source, so all users reach same conclusions • Define data management and dissemination rules for the comprehensive source of data to help mailers from preparation to drop shipment.

MTAC Workgroup 106 – Status • Developed final data structure solution • Reviewed the FAST Mail Direction File Version 2 to identify – • issues it resolves, • areas still requiring business process improvements, • FAST team responding to questions raised, and • will present questions to the USPS Address Management Service • Working on documenting the final report for the Steering Committee with ‘Recommended Solutions’ for all identified and unresolved business process improvement opportunities
