  • I never use camera software

  • Album software:

    • Works with “all” cameras

    • Does basic editing (red eye, resizing)

    • Organizes photos

    • Fun stuff: slide shows, books, printouts

  • Editing software:

    • Some have album features

    • More editing (text on screen, fixing scratches, color repair)

  • Get an idea of what Album software does

    • Crop

  • Looking for a final project related to digital photography? Consider:

    • Creating a new “photo” page on your portfolio, with images that relate to your coursework or career interest. Consider 8-10 photos and include captions with each.

    • Going through the online 4-H Digital Photography project (http://www.cahe.nmsu.edu/4h/photography/) and posting final work to KidSnaps (http://www.kidsnaps.org)
