Courses Offered • OPS 370, Principles of Operations Management(3 credits) • A study of the drivers of quality, customer satisfaction, efficiency and productivity in service and manufacturing • INB 300, International Business (3 credits) • Survey of global business operations and cross cultural negotiations • FRH, French Language (3 - 6 credits) • Taught at various levels of ability View of Marseilles from Notre-Dame de la Garde

  4. Your Week • 4 weeks, 10 class sessions/class, 1.5 to 2.5 hours each • Classes M-Th, 9 am -4.30 pm, field trips on Wednesday • Courses taught at the EUROMED CENTER FOR EUROPEAN AND • INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT STUDIES One of the beaches in Marseilles A typical menu 

  5. Your Weekend • Weekends (Friday – Sunday) are free to explore as you desire Garden and lavender field in Provence

  6. Estimated Program Cost • Estimated cost of $2,100.00 covers: • Housing (hotel in city, double occupancy, w/kitchenette • Library and computer access • Student Health Insurance (required) • 30-day bus/metro pass (in Marseille) • Arrival airport transfers • Field trips as part of class

  7. Additional Costs • Does Not Include: • Tuition and Fees • Airfare to/from Marseille • Other meals • Other local expenses while in Marseille • Costs incurred for weekend travel • Your costs will be influenced by individual spending patterns, weekend excursions, shopping for gifts, etc. please plan accordingly.

  8. Financial Aid • Federal and state financial aid awards may be applied to costs incurred while studying abroad. Even if you are normally ineligible for financial aid, you should submit a financial aid application (FAFSA). You may find that you are eligible for additional funding. IT IS THE STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AS EARLY AS THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE WILL ACCEPT APPLICATIONS. • For further information, contact your Financial Aid Counselor or the Office of International Programs.

  9. Scholarships • UNCW students may also apply for a UNCW Summer Education Abroad Grant (for summer programs) and additional study abroad scholarships. Grant applications and additional information are available at www.uncw.edu/intprogs/abroad-financialaid.htm. Scenes around Marseilles

Eligibility & Deadlines • Students are eligible to apply for this program if they meet the following eligibility criteria: • Degree-seeking student • At least Sophomore standing at time of participation • Good judicial standing • 2.5 GPA at time of application • Application and $225 non-refundable deposit (payable to UNCW) are due on or before March 15nd.
