  2. Facts about Germany Germany is a country in central Europe. The capital of Germany is Berlin.

  3. Flag colors The flag colors are black, red and gold.

  4. Climate In winter ,the weather is rainy and snowy especially in the high mountains of the south of Germany. In summer, it is warm and pleasant with some rain showers.

  5. Shelter Most people in Germany live in flats which are called housing units. Frankfurt city has many high buildings.

  6. Food Germany is famous for its bread and sausages. There are about 1500 types of sausages. The German Brezel (Pretzel) is one of the world’s oldest snack food.

  7. Clothes The German traditional clothing is known as tracht and drindl.
