  2. Launched at Aquatech 2008 EWTA is an association representing the residential, commercial and industrial water treatment industry in the European Union Registered in Brussels

  3. Purpose and mission • Exclusively residential, commercial and industrial Point of Use/Point of Entry representation • To ensure industry control of the agenda and progress • Broad Structured Membership • To ensure dedicated focus to the common interest of the membership • Proactive in setting and driving the agenda • Agenda to focus heavily on benefits and opportunities • To ensure increased acceptance, recognition and demand for POU/POI technology by the consumer and regulatory/supply authorities • Committed to raising the profile of our industry • Influential at European authoritative level

  4. STRUCTURE OF THE EWTA • Divided into market sector groups: • Softeners • Drinking Water Filters • Chemical Treatment • Physical Treatment • Private Water Supplies

Operation • Each sector to establish and run its own agenda • Each sector managed by a member of the EWTA Board of Directors • EWTA Board of Directors oversee sector activities to ensure harmony and cooperation on issues of mutual interest • The objective is to ensure each market sector can benefit equally from the influence and resources of the EWTA
