    • ESOL 2303 (for those following the ESOL sequence)

    • 2300 level language requirement (6 hours)

    • 18 hours of Upper-division Block Electives

    • Students who wish to earn a BSW degree must apply to and be accepted by the Social Work Program.

    • Requires no minor

    • Admission to Field Instruction

      • 2.0 g.p.a. in the Liberal Arts foundation

      • 2.5 g.p.a. for all Social Work courses by the end of the 2nd semester of the foundation professional year of study

      • “C” or better in: SOWK 2310, 2331, 2320, 3320, 3330, 3341, 3355, and CS 1310 or CIS 2320

    • Upon completion of the program the student is eligible to test for licensure from the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners as a Licensed Social Worker.
