The Publications Office Metadata Registry (MDR) • Reference point for the registration and maintenance of metadata definitions and related authority data used for • production and dissemination systems managed by the Publications Office • inter-institutional systems supporting the legislative decision making process • A framework for the harmonisation and standardisation of metadata used within the European institutions and beyond • Metadata governance in context of Interinstitutional Metadata Maintenance Committee (IMMC) • Documentation • Registration of internal and external clients/client systems data requirements and transformation/export in human and machine-readable formats
