  3. Mac OS • Merupakan sistem operasi untuk Apple MacIntosh • Team pengembang Mac OS : - Bill Atkinson - Jef Raskin - Andy Hertzfeld • Sistem Mac OS terbagi 2 : 1. Mac OS klasik  digunakan mulai pada komp generasi LISA hingga Mac OS Versi 9 2. Mac OS X  merupakan sistem operasi campuran antara BSD Unix, Open Step dan Mac OS 9. Perkembangan OS/2 • OS/2 1.00 : - diperkenalkan pada PC tahun 1987 - berbasis teks mode - tidak mendukung multitasking • OS/2 1.10 : - diperkenalkan tahun 1988 - menggunakan GUI mode yang disebut “Presentation Manger” • OS/2 1.10 EE : - dikenalkan tahun 1989 - sudah memiliki database manager dan communication manager.
