  9. It’s an evolving/learning process • 2010 = big changes • New field location • Still communal tend/harvest • Continued instruction of children

  11. Still learning… • 2011 = stable location • Plan renewal & focus • Incorporating a family plot model with communal area • No cost • Harness CF!G grant • Food Bank partnering • Material donations • Soil samples

  12. Still Community Gardening… • 2011 = excitement • Big Work PartyMarch 19th 10 –2 • Build garden beds • Build the fence • Build walking paths • Neighbor promotion

  13. It’s been a great Carbon Master project and catalyst • Many practical lessons • Many community connections • Lots of opportunities to share ideas • Inspired two school gardens (Alderwood Elementary, Shuksan Middle)
