WG5 – Data Sharing and Standards Purpose: To develop and promote clear and consistent standards, guidelines and procedures for the collection, access and sharing of data andinformation between the Boards and clients. WG5 – Data Sharing and Standards • Drafting Key Findings / Recommendations • How to implement GIS Submission Guidelines? • Recommend implementation of online registry by both SLWB and GLWB • MVLWB MGP IMS – at late design stage, WG5 to consider potential benefits to the panels • NWT Land Use Mapping websiteNWT Environmental Monitoring Portal (LWBs would be major data provider to both)are on hold until January due to GNWT delays Where we’ve been Where We Are Now

WG 5 – Data Sharing and Standards • Next Steps • Continued work with SLWB and GLWB towards online registry / ledger / • website enhancements • Electronic document distribution • Implementation of MGP IMS by the MVLWB • Shared water quality / water use database • Finalize statement of work / hire developer($30k funding requested) • Enhancedand coordinated GIS / mapping products • Coordinate with INAC / GNWT to further the NWT Monitoring Portal and the NWT Land Use Mapping website Where We’ve Been Where We Are Now Where We’re Going
