  1. Lumen Parent Portal LOGIN DEMONSTRATION

  2. Access the Rockridge website. Pull down to Technology under District Information and select Lumen Portal. This will take you to the Lumen login page. 2

  3. Put in Location ID: 8 (for high school) Your assigned login name. Your assigned password. Next click Enter. 3

  4. This is your desktop screen, click on Parent Lumen Access icon. 4

  5. The first time you access the system will ask you to verify that you are the correct person to be accessing. Once accepted you will see the above screen each time you login. Click on your student’s name and you will enter the portal. Add My Other Students: You can also add other siblings by clicking this link and following the online directions. 5

  6. If you do want to add your other students, you would fill out the above information. You receive this information for each student that you have. Once you have provided the information, then click on Request Access button. 6

  7. On far left shows student schedule, click the more button and it populates middle. 7

  8. What the portal displays. • Student grades are listed by class and quarter. You can print this screen out by clicking on print next slide will show the different formats. Select one usually pdf (Adobe Acrobat Reader) to display the report. Then click Preview and print. (slide 9) • You can click on a grade and it will display what assignments made up the grade. Next slide shows this. To leave the screen click X in upper right corner. (slide 10) • On the left side of portal scroll down to Classroom Activities. Click corresponding More button and will show in adjacent window. (slide 11) • Keep scrolling on the left, next is the Lunch Account Detail. (Slide 12) Here you can view your student’s account information, even can see if they had ice cream! • Next is the Student Data update form – you can update cell phone numbers and other pertinent information changes that can occur. Please be sure to make changes and then click Save Changes (upper right) These will be approved and changed in Lumen Demographics. This is helpful for Alert Now changes. (slide 13) • Slide 14 just shows to click X to return to desktop. • Slide 15 Log Out screen. 8

  9. Select the format to print. CSV = Excel file PDF = Adobe Acrobat HTML = Internet page JPG = Picture Then click Preview you will be able to print from here. 9

  15. When finished click EZStart and then Log Out. You will return to original Log in Page. 15
