  2. Why a Faculty Advisor? • Active teams require a FA who is employed by university • Can be academic or general staff • Can be full time, part time, contract or casual • Is a volunteer position • MUST register online at www.enactus.orgAND through Active Team Sheet

  3. Active Team MUST HAVE: • Have active students • Have a Faculty Advisor • Completing projects that meet the judging criterion • Example of an Active Team Sheet is available on page 61 of the Enactus Team Handbook

  4. Auditing the FA Points are awards during auditing for the FA for: • Faculty Advisor meets all qualifications and is officially recognized by the country operation [1 point] • Faculty Advisor is motivated and involved with one of the following: team operations, team projects, sustainability elements, or meetings/events [1 point] • Faculty Advisor is motivated and involved with two or more of the following: team operations, team projects, sustainability elements, or meetings/events [1 point] • Faculty Advisor effectively and timely communicates with the Enactus office including response to inquiries and submission of reports [1 point] • Faculty Advisor has played a key role in institutionalizing the program [1 point]

  7. What are the responsibilities of a FA? Key duties include: • Provide mentorship to Enactus members • Communicator between team and Regional Co-ordinator and enactus Australia • Regularly attend meetings, fundraising activities and outreach programs • Provide guidance to the team and evaluate National Conference and World Cup presentations • Prepare Enactus students for National Conference and World Cup • Serve as an advocate for Enactus on and off campus • Ascertain that the team has met all requirements
