  2. New Microsoft Ink tools from the SMART Ink Toolbar The SMART Ink tab has been updated to make it easier and clearer to work with Microsoft Ink Tools. It now supports Office 2013. You can now conveniently activate your MS Office Pen Ribbon from the Microsoft Ink Tab or simply select the active tools on the tab to start annotating in your Office documents directly.

  4. SMART Ink Improvements for Mac OS New SMART Ink Settings menu allows you to manage ink behavior on Mac OS. Customize you ink color and thickness from the SMART Ink Tab.

  5. General Settings Permanently stop SMART Ink from loading at Start up. The service will not start unless manually turned on through this menu. This is one way to turn off SMART Ink support by default. Flexible ink settings allow for a customized experience tailored to each user’s needs. Work with ink more efficiently discard the ink automatically after you insert as text.

  6. MS Office Settings Hide the SMART Ink toolbar during your PPT slide shows but still be able to use your ink tools. This removes some user confusion with new menus. Decide to use SMART Ink or Microsoft Ink in MS Office by default. This improves your experience when annotating your documents and prevents users from having to change settings.

  7. Troubleshooting This dynamic troubleshooting menu will auto-populate according to your computer’s software settings. Green checkmarks confirm everything is running properly. In case of issues a red X will be visible next to the source of the problem. This tool will allow you to properly diagnose and troubleshoot, taking out any guessing.
