Types of Internet Ads • Popups- New window that comes up along with content when button is clicked • Floating Ad- Floats above content, can move across/ with screen • Expanding Ad- Changes size, usually when cursor moves across • Pop-under- Like Popup, but opens under current screen • Banner Ad- Ad embedded into web page, links to website of advertiser • Trick banner- Banner Ad that appears to be dialogue box, often mimics error message • Video Ad- Moving clips embedded into webpage, often uses same ads as televison
