Thai Ecotourism and Adventure Travel Association 60+ Members, Thai Specialist Eco-Tour Operators Goal: Sustainable Tourism Development & Promotion Principles : - Minimize impacts on tourism - Conservation of nature and culture - Support and encourage local involvement - Effective management for social and economic sustainability

What is the CSR-MAP? “Contribute towards sustainable tourism development & management in Thailand.” 1)3 months Tourism market studies by European partner 2) 7 monthsDevelop new Sustainable Tourism Standardsfor Tour Operators, Eco-guides, Green Restaurants & Hotels, Communities (CBT) through participatory processes 3) 6 months Develop 20 Green Tourism Routes, combining Thai SME Ecotourism suppliers, select 4 pilot routes, FAM 4) 2 months Introduce and promote the routes to the market / initiate private / public partnerships for further development
