  1. DIR Workshop Using Technology to Support Math Instruction to Support Students with and without Learning Disabilities at Pershing West Middle School

  2. Pershing West’s History In an effort to make a positive impact in the history of Chicago’s educational change movement, a group of concerned individuals used past experience, knowledge and expertise to create a school unlike the typical offerings of the time. The result, Pershing West Middle School, commits to nurture an atmosphere of leadership for students, faculty and staff and parents. In 2005, Pershing West opened its doors to accept students in grades four through eight. With a starting population of 233, Pershing West began establishing itself as a viable educational option for parents looking for opportunity. Since that time, the school has grown consistently and keeps a waiting list of families eager to grasp the “monarch spirit.”
