Objectives • Provide evidence-informed policy, operational, and technical guidance to the IATT on country level implementation of HIV interventions for young people • Contribute to the identification of priorities as well as to technical content development and delivery of future IATT materials UNAIDS

  3. Objectives cont. • Contribute to the development and timely review of IATT/YP technical products (publications, reports etc.) and to their dissemination through members’ websites and internal distribution channels • On behalf of the IATT, identify and disseminate evidence-informed good practices and approaches to intensify and scale up HIV programming for young people • Manage IATT technical products including editing, translation, production and distribution, and monitoring and evaluation of results utilization UNAIDS

  4. Progress • TOR and work plan developed-Working group established • Guidance Briefs printed( English) and distributed to all members-launched at ICASA • Translation into Spanish and French completed • Draft PPT presentation on Guidance Briefs completed • Draft Technical Guidance Note for Global Fund applications to be completed by end of April • Joint Mission- discussions on going with regional teams • Documentation of good practices on coordination at country level-contract to be signed in April between UNAIDS and BBC UNAIDS

  5. Challenges • Lack of commitment and participation from some WG members (especially on undertaking WG assignments) • Funding for translation and publishing guidance briefs in other languages UNAIDS
