  3. Vocabulary Economics - the branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth. Recession- a period of temporary economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced. Depression- is a sustained, long-term downturn in economic activity in one or more economies

  4. The Great Depression Rapid Inflation in Germany occurred in the early 1920's as a result of Germany printing money to pay their war debts. Dawes Plan – U.S. Loans money to Germany to help them Stock Market Crash of 1929 – U.S. Markets crash and all the money invested in Europe ends up drying up. Most of the world drops into a depression
