  1. Indifferent By: Madeline Coggins

  2. Indifferent is an adjective, that means having no particular interest or sympathy. Indifference is typically used to describe how someone feels towards a particular situation. Indifference is equivalent to words such as unconcerned and apathetic. While it is almost an exact opposite of empathy. An example of indifference is when someone is being mugged yet no one stops to help the victim. The by passers are being indifferent. I could subsume the word indifferent into my daily life when I am watching the T.V. or a movie. When no one tries to intervene or help a victim I could say they are indifferent towards the victim’s suffering.
