  2. Physical Description and Hobbies Athena had grey eyes Athena sprang full-grown in golden armor Known to be very wise Long brown curly hair Athena has a pet owl Athena plays the flute Carries a spear Known to love the arts, crafts and literature along with mathematics

  3. Athena • Athena is the Greek virgin goddess of reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature. • Athena’s symbols are the olive tree, owls, spears, helmets and snakes. • The owl on her shoulder is her pet. • The Athenian coins also have the owl on it as her symbol.

  4. Family relationship • Athena has no mother • Daughter of Zeus • Athena popped out of her fathers head Athena’s mother is Metis. Zeus swallowed her because Hera warned Zeus that Metis was having twins. One boy, and one girl. The girl was going to be very wise, but the boy when born was going to be even stronger than Zeus.

  5. Flaws and Crimes • Athena doesn’t dothat much flaws or crimes she is very peaceful and enjoys helping others.

  7. Hangouts • Athena is really wise and helpful. • Many cities had temples to Her as a protector. In Athens, all the temples on the acropolis, including the Parthenon itself, were her temples. And the Athenian Acropolis was were the army barracks were and the place of final defense if there was an invading enemy army. 

  8. Symbols • Athena’s symbols are the owl, on the Athenian coins it has an owl on it. • Her other symbol is the olive tree. • Athena spared it for the Athenian people.
