  2. The costs of textbooks keep increasing over time. • From 2003- 2007 there has been a 19% increase in expenses • Since 2002 textbook prices have increased 82% overall.

  3. How can we help inform college students on how to reduce the costs and still receive valuable material?

  4. Our Proposal:Detail the ways to reduce cost of textbooks in a Zine.

  8. Our idea for the Zine • 8 x 11 Resume Paper • Folded to make six sections to write down info • Distribute in college campuses and info areas

  10. How we came to implement this topic • We all endured a great amount of costs on college textbooks throughout our college careers • This semester alone we have spent about $500 on just a few textbooks required for our courses
