  4. The capital of Maryland is Annapolis. • There are 5,773,552 people as of the 2010 census. • Maryland is represented in Washington D.C. by two senators and eight representatives.

  10. Places to Visit • The battle of Antietam was held in Sharpsburg, Maryland. I would visit because Robert E. Lee and his troops fought here.

  11. The State House • The state house, Maryland’s capital building, is in Annapolis. Maryland’s chief courst are here in this building.
