Budgeted Replacement Cycle(per Fleet Management Plan) • Passenger vehicles and Pick-ups will be scheduled for replacement at: • 6 years (72 months) • or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. • Larger vehicles will be scheduled for replacement at: • 8 years (96 months) • or 100,000 miles. • Vehicles may be replaced sooner • Excessive maintenance or repair costs • Vehicles may be retained longer • Unusually low mileage or maintenance costs • Specialized vehicles and equipment will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine a customized replacement schedule

  4. Vehicle Replacement Criteria Worn out Front ends Suspensions are worn out Transmissions are failing Motors various problems (oil leak, burning oil, overheating, timing belts… Drive shaft issues, rear ends need replacement. A/C failure

  5. Equipment Replacement Criteria Hydraulic Systems are failing Bushing and Packing's need to be replaced Undercarriages need rebuilding including Sprockets and Tracks Decks Rotted, chassis failing
