  3. Today we will be participating in a spot test lab. Before you begin the lab: • Read the information on the bottom of page 136 in your book. Make a prediction: what types of drugs do you think spot tests would be most effective for. Be prepared to support your answer. • Once you have read and predicted, check in with Mrs. O and she will give you materials needed to complete the lab. • It is VERY IMPORTANT that you keep track of what the chemicals/powders are that you are working with. They all look very similar and will be very easy to mix up. • Once you have completed all tests for each drug, you must answer questions #1 – 5 on page 138 in your book. Forensic Science

We will begin the day by completing our chapter 10 & 11 Genetics test • Once completed with your test, please complete the “L” of your KWL chart on the back of the test by writing a brief description of what you learned during our Genetics unit. • We will then begin our viewing of the movie GATTACA if there is time Biology
