Introduction • A commercial diver is also known as an underwater welder who can do welding jobs below the water surface. • The major work is in the oil industry, damaged ships and pipeline repairing works. • The job of a commercial diver is challenging and thrilling. It has so many risks but the number of divers is increasing day by day.

Also, they undergo proper training and safety precautions methods. • The commercial diving job is of two types as wet underwater and dry hyperbaric.

The second is to get prepared for installation and welding. • After that, they get trained in some welding techniques such as electrode welding, three standard welding etc. and learn to identify the defects and errors. • Next, they will monitor and make changes for faulty things.
