  4. 1.1 Prepare reception area for service Handover: All reception shifts overlap by brief period (15 minutes to ½ hour) – this briefing allows: Time to discuss any relevant details for the next shift – time to review and resolve problems New staff prepare their area and check personal appearance For smooth transition from one shift to another Handover can be verbal, written or in form of reports
