What is Child Labor? • “The use of children in industry or business, esp. when illegal or considered inhumane.” –Google.com • “The gainful employment below an age determined by law or customs” –Dictionary.com • “…work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and their dignity, and that is harmful to physical and mental development.” –International Labor Organization • To me, Child labor is work done by children under dangerous circumstances, little to no pay, and/or for long hours, depriving them of their time as a youth.

3. The Problem with Child Labor • Immoral • Deprives the children of their time as youths • Long hours result in lack of time for school and education • Any Long-Term Injuries will affect them for the rest of their lives

5. What can be done? • Boycott a business that relies on child labor • Educate people and spread the word • Donate to a anti-child labor charity • Join a campaign against Child Labor
