NLQG - Housing project sign up sheet This is a block exchange Each person decide on their subdivision rules – e.g. house style, block size, quilt size (e.g. wall hanging), color scheme, appliqué or piecing, whether you supply the background , some fabric and or pattern or not, and any other guidelines. You can supply an example block Sign up on January 12th (You can still sign up until January 14th by e-mail) You will be contacted by January 15th with the number & names of people in your exchange group (if there is enough participants we will have appliqué and piecing groups) Block exchange kick off on January 26th - Have handouts ready for each person in your group with your subdivision rules The blocks should be completed and handed back on May 25th at the guild meeting (you can give it to the division planner earlier) On June 22nd the neighborhoods will be revealed and the quilts will be voted on by secret ballot for prizes Some examples of quilts from various publications follows Namee-mailAppliqué or piecing
