  2. 3-4 pages double-spaced typed per person. (*That means if you have a 5 person group, you’ll have a minimum 15 page paper.)-Decide if you want to combine your book theme analysis with your modern day analysis by person or separate the two. Example: Josh-is covering 1-8, and movies. He can write all of this into one 3 page paper and then attach all other group members’ writings to it, or the entire group can piece together their book analysis and then the modern day. The group must be consistent on this, but either way will work.

  3. Remember: Direct quotes aren’t necessary, but if they are used, they should be embedded correctly and cited with page number with thorough explanation (SHOULD NOT ONLY BE A BUNCH OF QUOTES PUT TOGETHER). Contextual evidence should be used and explained thoroughly if not using direct quotes. Reference your packet for your theme and helpful questions that will help you start on your writing. Creating and using Google Docs is highly recommended. Turnitin.com is required. Regardless of how you choose to organize your paper, you should submit the entire group’s paper as ONE FILE. The leader should add all member’s names to the heading, title the paper with your theme, and label each section of the paper with the writer’s name. See next slide for an example.
