  • DoU is the main tool recommended in guidance for

    • the identification of use

    • and the headline in the ES

  • DoU is input parameter to exposure models

    • PROC => Occupational exposure calculation

    • PC/AC => Consumer exposure calculations

    • LCS+SU/PC/PROC/AC => ERC=>environmental exposure calculations

  • Conclusion from case studies in RIP 3.2 and various workshops:

    • DoU is difficult to use/not reproducible

    • More help is needed to find your way around in DoU
