It offers efficient entry into subject areas, search and retrieval functionalities, and promotes cooperation between environmental information portals in Germany.

CooperationbetweenEnvironmental Information Portals in Germany(I) • Cooperation in the development and implementation of IT procedures in environmental management has been established in Germany for many years • The basis is an administrative agreement on the cooperation in conceptions and developments of software for environmental information systems (VKoopUIS) between the Federal Environment Ministry and the Ministries of the Environment of the Länder of 2001 • Cooperation project "Landesumweltportale" (LUPO)
