Cálculo de condensadores Etapa fija de para compensar el factor de potencia con el transformador en vacío Q0 = S0 = 1.732 x V0 x I0 Q0 = 1.732 x 480 x 25 / 1000 Q0 = 20.78 kVAR cosj1 = 0.828 y tan j1 = 0.672 cosj2 = 0.96 y tan j2 = 0.29 condensadores = Pel(tan j1 - tan j2) condensadores = 517.8 x 0.382 = 198 kVAR

  3. Capacidad disponible del transformador • Sin los condensadores: 800 – 625.3 = 174.7 kVA • Con los condensadores carga = P / cosj2 = 517.8 / 0.96 = 539.4 kVA 800 – 539.4 = 260.6 kVA • Se pueden agregar 2 motores de 100 HP equivalentes a: 2 x 94.3 = 188.6 kVA pues tenemos 260.6 kVA disponibles
