  2. OUR HOPE • We hope to make people aware of the effects of media on young teenagers, by analyzing their behaviour and habits, including their exposure to media in all forms.

  3. OUR PROCESS • Created a survey asking a variety of questions about teens media usage and their behaviour • Randomly surveyed 100 grade 9’s and collected our data • Created graphs based on the data - only using the information we felt was relevant

  4. EXPOSURE • The first piece of information we analyzed was how accessible media is to young teenagers

  10. MEDIA TYPE • We then asked questions about what type of media they were exposed too • We were also curious about which TV shows they watched and how this would affect them

  15. THE EFFECT • After looking at the types of media they were exposed to and how much they were exposed to media we asked them about their behaviour and how media may have contributed

  22. CONCLUSION • We have concluded that media does greatly impact teenagers • Media contains false portrayals of how we should act and appear to society – seen in the survey results • The number of people surveyed that participated in behaviors illegal and unhealthy was shocking
