  3. The Revolutionary War only ended the fighting. There still was another episode to finish the changes we call REVOLUTION… Creating a new Constitution & Government

  4. CLICK BELOW FOR PREAMBLE SONG

  5. Liberty Kids Final Episode The You Tube link below will take you to the last episode: “We The People”. It tells the story about the Constitution Convention of 1787. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNTNueTl904 Did you notice? After 12 years of Revolution Moses, James, & Sarah never aged!! lol

  6. Branches of Power Game http://www.usmint.gov/kids/games/branchesOfPower/

  7. Why Did James Madison Create A 3 Branch Government? It’s called “The Separation of Powers” You “gotta keep’em separated” so one branch won’t gain too much power. Each branch has its own powers or duties to make government function.

  8. How Does Separation of Powers Work? It’s a system of CHECKS and BALANCES. One branch can “check”, or stop, the other from gaining power. Ex: Legislative Branch makes Bills (future laws) but the Executive Branch executes (carries out) law by signing OR vetoing it (rejecting it)
