  1. Shrug Shrug (verb) Definition: To raise your shoulders in order to show doubt or lack of interest. Sentence: My father shrugs when he is unsure of an answer.

  2. Quiver • Quiv * er (verb) • Definition: To tremble or to vibrate. • Sentence: Nancy’s voice quivered as she gave her oral report.

  3. Numb Numb (adjective) Definition: Unable to feel anything, or unable to move. Sentence: My hands were numb because of the cold weather.
