Even if you are at school, the Friday sermon is repeated later in the day on MTA. Dear Nasirat, Assalam o aleikum.Firstly, a big well done to all those who took the test on “The battles of early Islam”. We hope you enjoyed the topic, and learnt many new and interesting facts about our history. One important point to remember though, Islam NEVER instigates a war. We only have the right to fight back if we are under attack, and our faith is being threatened. As you may already know, the month of February is when we celebrate Musle Maood day. Did you manage to attend a Muslemaood Jalsa in your area? Hazrat MusleMaoodro was the promised son of the Promised Messiahas , and he was also the second Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Jama’at, and remained so for over 50 years. He started many projects, and wrote many books including poetry. It was he, who started the institution of Nasirat. There is also a section about Hazrat Musle Maoodro in your Nasirat Syllabus, so be sure to read it ! Blessed Schemes of Terike Jadid &Waqfe Jadid Hazrat Musle Maoodro established Terike Jadid scheme in 1934 to send missionaries all over the world. Then in 1956 Waqfe Jadid scheme was established to send educators to our community in rural areas. Mash’Allah last year Nasiratul Ahmadiyya UK made good contributions. Please make sure you have made your promises for this year. We also encouraged girls to participate in 3 different schemes; -Young Mujahidat (£12/year), -Mujahidat Saf-e Dom (£25/year), -Mujahidat Saf-e Awal (£50/year). Gulshan e Waqf e nau class with Huzoor 27th February 2010 The main topic for the class this month was a talk about the history of MinaratulMasih, it’s origins, how and when it was built etc. There was also a report by some Nasirat who visited the exhibition at the science museum about Muslim scientists. This obviously included the well known Ahmadi scientist and Physisist, Dr. Abdus Salam Sahib. Minaratul Masih, Qadian, India Did you know that the Urdu children’s magazine Tashheez is now available online? Huzoor atba is always encouraging us to learn Urdu, and this is such a fun way to do that. This magazine is full of articles, jokes, puzzles and so much more.
