Oracle Technology Stack 2-tier Architecture • Apps and database both run on RS6000 (db – AIX v5.3; apps – AIX v5.2) • Apps server – IBM630; 4-way; 1.45GHz Power 4+ processors; 8GB RAM • DB server – IBM570; 4-way; 1.9GHz Power 5+ processors; 16GB RAM • Storage – IBM FAStT700; approx. 400Gb (three environments - PROD & 2 test)
