  3. First Implementation Stages • Informational in-service with staff • Meetings with administrators & team leaders • Technical training of media personnel • Grade level workshops: - Implementing tests - Accessing the data - Using the data

  4. Recent Stages • Winter 2007 Administered Tests 2nd-8th - 1st added this spring - 9th added in fall of 2007-08 - 10th added in fall of 2008-09 • Feb. Prof. Development Day: MEAP & MAP DATA • - Met by building level groups • - Assessed priorities & needs • - Set teaching & learning goals • General Debriefing: Improvement

  5. NWEA/MAP Test Categories Primary (1st) Reading I Reading II Math I Math II Other Grades (2nd-8th) Reading Language Usage Math Science I Science II Each test aligns with Michigan’s Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs).
