  1. KPIs report • Requirements for KPIs – lagging vs leading • Minimum data entries into CMMS for future reference, data analysis and KPI reporting • Additional requirements for data entries • KPIs for equipment • KPIs along asset hierarchy • Recommendations

  2. Requirements for KPIs • Two main considerations: 1) Reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) 2) Lifecycle cost (LLC) where possible • The aim is to sustain required RAM at optimum LCC (not the least) –approx at 2-3% per year of capital replacement value (CRV) • KPIs to include both leading/proactive and lagging/reactive indicators • To track KPIs against equipment and the asset hierarchy • Minimum mandatory data entries in CMMS for data analysis & KPIs reporting • KPIs to be attached in the monthly report

  3. Minimum mandatory data entries To capture sufficient data for reference, data analysis, & KPIs reporting purposes: 1)  plan and actual labour - WO cannot be scheduled if planned manhour not specified and cannot be closed if actual manhour not entered 2) plan and actual spares - WO cannot be closed if the spares reserved not yet posted to WO and direct charge materials not yet have PO, provided users decide to delete reservations for spares or PR for direct charge materials after prompted with a user exit warning when wanting to close the WO 3) plan and actual services - same as point 2 above 4) downtime start/finish dates and times - must be entered before can close WO after a field "downtime" has been ticked when creating a work request. 5) failure codes based on ISO14224 (OREDA) - must be entered before can close WO

  4. Additional requirements for data entries • All works must have work order with operations assigned properly with labour, materials & services • All works on existing platform must be captured in Maximo for analysis including projects, maintenance, inspection & shutdown, regardless of discipline or department • All asset must be given a tag number and eqpt no and registered in Maximo under the right system and hierarchy

  5. KPIs for equipment

  6. KPIs along asset hierarchy

  7. Recommendations • To implement minimum mandatory data entries • To include project works for existing platforms in CMMS • To obtain KPIs from CMMS where available • Discipline engineers to externally tracked other leading indicators if not obtainable from CMMS • To hold refresher KPI training or workshop for management and CMMS users • To include KPIs in monthly report • To manage works and evaluate staff performance by KPIs
