  • A good investigators is knowledgeable, creative, patient and persistent.
  • A good investigator reads a lot.
  • Investigators must be able to absorb there training and then use this training in the field.
  • Exceptional intelligence is not a requisite trait of an effective investigator, he/she must be objectivity, logic, and common sense.
  • Effective investigator obtains and retains information apply technical knowledge and remain open-minded, objective and logical. They are also “culturally adroit” that is, skilled in interacting across gender, ethic, social and political groups.
