SAH HIV AND AIDS COORDINATING TEAM COMMITTEE OPD FLOW CHART OUT PATIENT DEPARTMENT Asymptomatic patients Patient Walk in at OPD consultation based on signs and symptoms Referral from other institution (health center/NGO/lying in Specific OPD sections (IM, pedia, surgery, OB High risk status (pregnancy, hx of STI) Chief of Clinics Pre test counseling and voluntary informed consent. (NEC FORM A via HACT coordinator per unit) Refer to HACT at HIV clinic Wednesday 1-3pm Pre test counseling Blood extraction in the lab and testing ( accomplished NEC form A; HIV proficient medtech) Post test counseling Reactive Non reactive ( repeat test after 6 mos) Reactive RESULT SACCL for confirmatory Non reactive ( repeat test after 6 mos) NOTED BY: GRACE H.
